Oh, you're ready to book?! Your next step is so easy.
Head to our booking page and choose the service category you're looking for. Select your service - you can click "more info" for details on any of them, or browse our full menu on the website if you want to do your homework first.
The website will walk you through the rest. If it needs clarification (Curling iron or flat iron? Vivid color?), it'll ask as you go. You'll also get the chance to add on any upgrades along the way (an extended scalp massage is right there waiting for you and honestly, you deserve it).
Next up, choose your stylist. Pricing is listed individually so there are zero surprises. If you don't have a preference or just want in as soon as possible? Choose "Anyone" and we'll handle the rest.
Then pick your date and time, drop in your basic info, leave a comment if there's anything we should know going in, and acknowledge our cancellation policy. First-time clients will need to leave a card on file to hold the appointment, like most things in life.
Once you confirm, your booking is done. You'll get a confirmation sent your way, and you'll even have the option to upload reference photos before your appointment so we can hit the ground running.

LOCATION + PARKING
The Mill is located at 249 Main Street Huntington NY 11743. In the heart of Huntington Village, we are right next to Wax Republic and nearby to Mundays and Classic Galleries.
If you get to your appointment early there is a ton of shopping, great food and coffee within walking distance of The Mill - or you can make yourself cozy on our front couch .
There is a large parking lot right across the street from The Mill (right next to the church.) Parking in the lot is free but it does fill up on weekends and at night.
There is also paid street parking that starts at 10am and can be paid for using the Passport Parking app.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AT THE MILL
When you walk into The Mill Hair Studio you'll be stepping into a space that feels like your eccentric best friend's living room - vintage photos, quirky decor, deep greens and golds, and yes.. lots of skulls. There's no intimidating front desk - your stylist will most likely be sitting on the couch waiting for you like an old friend.
If you filled out your preferences before walking in (we're fancy like that), your drink will be waiting for you. The consultation is all about you - thorough, relaxed, and 100% judgement-free. You'll feel seen, understood, and instantly comfortable.
Whether you're getting a custom color or a cut, the salon's intimate setting (just four chairs, one guest per stylist) means you get all the attention without the chaos. You can chat, laugh, work, eavesdrop on a hilarious conversation, or do whatever you want during your appointment. It's kind of like one of those "choose-your-own-adventure" types of situations.
Your appointment, from start to finish, is your time. Read, relax, or keep working while sipping your favorite drink and raiding our snacks. And when it's time for the shampoo - prepare yourself. Our sinks are d r e a m y - add on a hair treatment or extended scalp massage and you might never want to leave.
If scheduled for one, your stylist will wrap it all up with a blowout worthy of a photoshoot (because there probably will be one - with your permission, of course), checkout right from your chair, and send you home with all the info you need to keep your hair thriving at home.
To sum it up: you'll walk in feeling like yourself and leave feeling like your best self - with new friends and drop dead gorgeous hair.
